Naturopathic Doctors are general practitioners trained to identify a wide range of conditions, and to search out the root cause of the symptoms you are exhibiting. Commonly seen conditions are: allergies, autoimmune diseases, cancer, chronic conditions, depression, diabetes, digestive problems, endocrine disorders, fatigue, fertility issues, menopause, men’s health, pain, pediatric concerns, pre-conception/pre-natal and post-natal, weight management, skin disorders and women’s health to name a few.

Education

Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine in Canada must have completed at least 3 years of a pre-med undergraduate degree. This is followed by a 4 year, full-time program at an accredited institute.  In Canada, there are currently 2 accredited schools: Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
